Cut the Bakwaas: An ode to being unapologetically brown & British

  • Rich Mix 35 - 47 Bethnal Green Road London, E1 6LA UK (map)

Cut the Bakwaas is an unapologetic coming together and celebration of our diverse, colourful and extraordinary lives that have often been misheard or misunderstood in wider British culture. We will explore our stories through multidisciplinary artworks, performances and a panel discussion from a line- up of inspirational British Asian creatives, articulating what it really means to be British Asian in 2018.

Hosted by the FABULOUS desi duo Leyya Sattar and Roshni Goyate, co-founders of the award-winning creative platform The Other Box, celebrating POC and other minorities.
